I am a writer living in New York. I work in at a law firm and fly kites in my free time.
The original, silly bio:
Three months after graduating from a well-regarded university with a degree of some sort, the Scribblerist found himself living on the streets of New York, begging passersby for second hand copies of Natalie Goldberg’s “Writing Down the Bones,” Stephen King’s “On Writing,” and “The Collected Essays of E.B. White.” For a time, he held writing workshops in Tompkins Square Park with the winos. He was determined.
Driven, however, by basic needs like shabby suit jackets, movie tickets, and clean water, the Scribblerist secured gainful employment at a law firm.
The Scribblerist enjoys music and ad revenue.
